About Klara & Serenite 8
Serenite 8 grew out of my own journey with health, body image and finding balance. I know what it’s like to feel uncomfortable in your own skin, to swing between extremes, and to try to “fix” things alone. Now, my work is about walking alongside other women as they create a kinder, more sustainable way of looking after themselves.
Why I do this work
As a teenager, I didn’t feel good in my body - and it affected every part of my life. I started making conscious choices about how I wanted to live: giving up unhelpful habits, moving more, eating in a way that felt healthier. Sport became part of my daily routine, and I became very focused on nutrition.
But for a while, I slipped into extremes: exercising every day, following strict diets, feeling like I constantly had to do more. I was mostly figuring things out alone and didn’t yet know how to find balance.
A big shift came when I lived in France. I was fascinated watching French women eat in a way that felt both healthy and joyful - enjoying food, but not in an all-or-nothing way. That sparked years of deeper research into nutrition, lifestyle and what “healthy living” really means.
Sport was always there in the background, but over time I learned to truly enjoy it: to choose forms of movement that feel good and support my body, instead of using exercise as punishment.
In 2022, I decided to formalise what I had been learning and doing on my own for years, and I trained as a health coach with the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. I realised how much I enjoy helping people live happier, healthier lives and seeing them reach their potential.
I also spent years working in the corporate world, which gave me a real understanding of stress, time pressure and how easy it is to put your own wellbeing last.
Over time, I realised the most important parts of my work weren’t perfect plans or strict rules - they were how people felt in our sessions: supported, not judged; encouraged, not pushed; calmer and a little more hopeful than when they arrived. That’s what I want Serenite 8 to be: a warm, calm space where you can be honest about what’s really going on, and where we look for realistic steps that fit your life - not someone else’s idea of perfection.
What I’ve learned - and what I now bring into my work - is that:
-
You don’t need to be perfect.
-
You’re allowed to ask for help.
-
Every day, we have a choice in how we live and care for ourselves.
-
The journey won’t be perfect, but doing your best over time really does make a difference.
If I can help even one person live a better, more fulfilled life, it already feels worth it.
